Delhi Masala (124th st)

Excellent food (chicken tikka masala is my favorite - great flavor, large portion, quality chicken). Service has been on time and arrived hot every time I have ordered. Restaurant staff is very gracious. For example, when I placed my first online order from Delhi Masala, I ordered near the time of closing (10:30pm) and mistakenly requested take-out. When the restaurant called to tell me my food was ready for pick-up, and employees were starting to leave, I explained I had made a mistake and had wanted delivery. The restaurant had my food delivered to me after the closing time at no additional cost - saying it was no problem for a "beloved customer"!

Couldnt update my previous review so wanted to write another. This place is usually delicious but today it was off.

The butter chicken had burnt chicken and the smokey flavour took over the dish, it was too sweet, and you couldnt taste the butter.
The chicken sago korma had too much Cardamom or something (couldnt tell what exactly) and you couldnt taste the coconut. Flavour was a bit dull except for the cardamom.

Again this place is usually great, idk if its this one time or what

First time trying this and honestly it is the best food I have had in a very long time. The delivery was on time, the food was nice and hot and super tasty. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala Combo. It comes with a lot of food and it's super delicious.

I'm supper excited to have such an authentic Indian restaurant in Harlem. We've ordered delivery a couple of times and I've also had the lunch buffet in the restaurant. Everything thing we've ordered has been delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food and service. We won't be ordering Indian food from anywhere else. There was one thing forgotten in our bag, and the driver extremely promptly brought it to us and was very apologetic. Solid find!!

Delicious for the meat lover. The restaurant was attentive to my dietary restrictions (I have allergies to gluten, egg, peanut and don't eat dairy). I ordered the lamb with toasted coconut and star anise spiced sauce. They gave me a generous portion of lamb which was tender and delicious. But I wish there was veggies in this dish. None whatsoever just a lot of sauce and lamb. I also got the lentil soup which was delicious and more flavorful then traditionally prepared lentil soup since it's cooked in chicken stock. I would order from them again but now I know to request veggies in my dish.

I can honestly say I will order from here again. First, my delivery came before the seamless predicted time. The food was packed well, and came HOT! I asked for my food to be very spicy, concerned about lack of flavor. However, it was spicy, exactly to my taste. I had the lunch special with lamb curry, and a veggie samosa (delicious 2 per order). I also expected a half of piece of naan, since it was included with the lunch special but received one entire piece. Very satisfied with my order!

OH MY GOD!!! The food was beyond awesome! Do yourself and the ones you love a favor and order right now. I cant begin to express how mind blown I am at the flavor! I am so grateful there is a place right here in the neighborhood that has Indian Cuisine that is out of this world delicious! The Chicken Tikka Masala is everything, especially with a side of Naan! I feel a serious case of Food Coma coming on. =D

Wow, some of the best Indian food I've had in a while, delivery or otherwise. I am sooo happy to have this place in delivery range. Keep up the awesome work and I'm a loyal customer.
Everything was well seasoned, fresh and hot. The jasmine rice was so fragrant and delicious. I am so looking forward to making my way through the rest of the menu.

I have ordered many times and Delhi Masala is always delicious and always on time. I live 5 blocks away and I'm so glad to have good Indian food in the neighborhood. Chicken saag is my go-to and it is delicious with juicy chunks of chicken and good flavor in the spinach. Travels well. I LOVE Delhi Masala!!!
